Default Greens in NightFall

Is it harder to get a green drop in NightFall? The reason I ask is, I've been out into Arkjok ward where there are a few bosses (reminds me of outside Deldrimore in Prophs). However, I've yet to see a green drop here, but outside Del I could get one at least every 5-10 runs. I've done at least 10 in Arkjok and got nothing.

I don't think it's the farming code because it never affected me when in Prophs, so I was wondering if the green drops are rarer in NF? Maybe it's just bad luck. I'll keep trying but any daylight on this would help.

Cheers.

I'm pretty sure people have farmed the life out of that area and have made Anet or some auto over farm response trigger or something reduced the drop rates there.

I'm fairly certain the over farming thing is only account based - it really really wouldn't be fair otherwise!

Henchies do tend to eat drops, if you have a build that can farm solo you have a better (but not guaranteed) chance of a green dropping from a boss. I've only had one so far and I've lost count of the bosses I've killed...

Thanks for replying. So it's just bad luck for me by the looks of it. Just wanted to make sure it's not NF playing hardball. Thanks again.

I dont know man, ive spent 4 whole days killing shreiker, and he wont drop that spear. I cant count how many bosses ive killed in 4 days, I have one green smite staff and 8,000 lightbringer points. So either im the unluckiest person in the world or its just harder to get green drops in nightfall.

Chapter doesn't matter to my luck. It just comes and goes.

Prophecies = no greens
Factions = 5 greens
Nightfall - 2 greens

With NF one was the Istani hammer; the other was from an afternnoon trying to get a scythe to drop, when I gave up I remembered that I also wanted to cap an elite from another boss, he dropped his green.

Prophecies, warcamp - basically get one green per run.

Im thinking nightfall has some anti-farm code where if you repeat the same zone you dont get green. I have gotten like 100 scrolls, sometimes two blue weapons, so i know the boss is dropping in my name.

I farm with a 8 man hero/hench team, they never quit and there is never any fighting goin on and no one steals anyones drops.
What i want to know is there any difference in drop rate between 8 humans and 8 hero hench?

Greens in nf,Im maby lucky because if already found/resived about 10 greens in less of 3 days....during farming . swords, staffs, one hand items, axe.

i think theres no anti-farmcode ,just time and al the luck in the world.

Oh, dont get me wrong, I have many nightfall greens. They seem to drop better if your not farming for them.
I have 3 of this, 2 of that, its just this one boss i cant get to drop, i think i have the nightfall anti-farm bug.
So imo it is harder to farm for greens in nightfall than say prophecies. I have never seen this so called "over farm" warning that i hear others talk of.
But i know for certian that the farming code for nightfall is different than the code for prophecies. Guess im going to have to revert to a solo character to get the item i want.

I usually get a green drop when farming in nightfall once out of every 6 attempts. Sometimes it has taken much longer, and sometimes I've gotten them the first two consecutive times I've gone out.

I agree that drops tend to be "rarer" for me in Nightfall. Prophecies ive gotten countless greens due to soloing tombs and SF runs.

Factions has a decent drop rate, ive gotten a few there.

I've only gotten 3 greens from nightfall 2 of which i wasnt even planning on getting. I would agree with the statement that when you enter a zone repeatedly the drop rates decrease (more so than the already do) faster in NF than other chapters.
I would think that if there were 500 people entering an area the drop rates would become lower per person due to the amount of people entering, at the same time if theres only 3 people entering an area, the drop rates will be normal or close to normal. This allows a balance of weapons in GW so there arent 120000 of Staff A and 2 of Staff B (just.. my speculation though)

Also i think it does matter who else is farming it. If 500 players seem to be going out for the same item, I would think that it drops less because of the amount of people trying to earn it. However if theres only 2-3 players farming an area the drop tends to be higher. (that just makes sense to me anyways)
